Republic of San Marino
In Greek mythology the Titans were giants. San Marino, instead, is the world's smallest republic, proud of its tiny size. And above all, of being the most ancient.

Gradara, & Paolo and Francesca's story
In the medieval citadel of Gradara, the celebrated "love story" of Paolo and Francesca, sung by Dante, was consummated. By now, the blinds of Francesca's room are usually always closed. Nobody looks out from that window any more to "soften their hearts" by gazing into the infinite. Ever since that day in 1289, the room in the fortress of Gradara remains in half-light: frescoed walls can be seen, the large bed and legendary stand on which the "galeotto" (or go-between) book was placed, wherein the forbidden loves of Lancelot and Guinevere were narrated. A trapdoor hides the secret passage that allowed Paolo to reach his beloved one, but that didn't help him flee when attacked by Gianciotto's vindictive fury.

Pennabilli
The "Shrine of Thoughts", a place for reflecting, where there are seven mysterious stones that look forward to listening to both pleasant words and bad ones. Then, in the old village of Pennabilli, visitors can discover the ancient magic of the sun-dials painted by Mario Arnaldi and adjusted by Giovanni Paltrinieri: their shade-line is a way of indicating time as it goes by in the valley. But so many are the other things we have arranged and done, and that we want to do. Also because in summer, at Pennabilli and in the villages of the Marecchia Valley, there are so many initiatives, starting with the National Antiques Market-Show, which takes place in July.
Open Farms in the province of Rimini
Open farms of the province of Rimini, an opportunity to discover the flavours and colours of Emilia Romagna. The offer is especially large and titillating, guided tours, walks, bike or horseback rides, or excursions in a gig to get to know the land and the local farming productive techniques, all accompanied with music, games, children's & adults' labs, and... tastings!
The Romagnolo hinterland
More and more tourists choose to spend a part of their days not at the seaside, under the sun, but by visiting the characteristic localities of the Romagnolo hinterland. These, with their perfectly preserved villages, fortresses and castles, bring back to one's mind forgotten traditions and cultures.
Alongside the great monuments, the small trattorias and the souvenir shops are able to entice and rouse the appetite of quite a lot of tourists, who - enraptured by the accuracy in the efforts of preservation of the past's relics and stories - are accompanied for a trip through time which impassions them.
The symbolic places of the Gothic line, the zones of Garibaldi's flight, the fortresses of San Marino, Gradara and San Leo, the abbeys of Verucchio and of Forlė's hinterland are just a few kilometres from the sea. Monument and farm sightseeing tours are often arranged directly by the hotels, proposing cultural itineraries while interlacing flavours and tales of the Romagna tradition.
San Leo, history of Cagliostro's stronghold
If the fortress of San Leo whispers its history, it is a two-voice tale. You can either listen to the chronicle or to the legend. They're chained together, in the cell where Cagliostro was buried alive by the Inquisition.

San Mauro and Giovanni Pascoli
There's a village in whose all corners we find the signs of a sorrowful yet extraordinary human - and at the same time - literary, story: San Mauro Pascoli, in Romagna. The homeland of the great poet, Giovanni Pascoli.
